After our first wedding workshop was sold out within 15 hours we started already planning a second one for those people left out in order to make them smile too. Days for such an event are rare during the wedding season but we had scheduled a Fusion Workshop and did not get enough interest, which leads us to only do Fusion with one2one sessions anymore. So we freed the 30. April to 2. May for another version of our Candi Wedding Workshop and we again were blown away by the interest from talented photographers from all over Germany and Austria. We did it! After doing fusion workshops, portrait photography and editing workshops during the last years we decided to go for a business specific wedding workshop and unveil all we know about this industry and how we work. We put it under the umbrella “learn how we do it”. We almost could not believe the fact, that it was sold out within 15h after opening the registration form. We had no idea that so many people are interested into how we run our business and what we have to talk about. We were blown away by the trust and interest into the workshops and we certainly wanted to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Wir haben es schon hier und da anklingen lassen und heute ist es endlich so weit: Wir veranstalten unseren ersten Wedding spezifischen Workshop. In 20 Intensivworkshopstunden zeigen wir alles was wir in den letzten Jahren an Erfahrung in der Hochzeitsbranche gesammelt haben, mit welchen Tools wir arbeiten, wie wir Fotografieren, wie wir aus einer Leidenschaft und Hobby einen Vollzeitjob gemacht haben und vieles vieles mehr! Es ist lange überfällig nach den Fotografie Praxisworkshops in Villach auch über die Bildbearbeitung zu sprechen. Wir werden so oft gefragt, wie unser Workflow in der Postproduktion, also unter anderem der digitalen Dunkelkammer, aussieht. Während dieses Seminars teilen wir mit euch alles Notwendige, damit eure Nacharbeit an Bildern besser wird und die Portraitfotos ihren verdienten Feinschliff bekommen. Die Bearbeitung werden wir anhand der beiden Programme Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (85%) und Adobe Photoshop (15%) zeigen.

Wir stellen die wichtigsten Grundzügen von Lightroom vor und wieso man als Fotograf bzw. ambitionierter Hobbyist nicht mehr darauf verzichten kann. Die ganzen Funktionen von Photoshop zu zeigen ist natürlich nicht möglich, aber wir werden spezielle Techniken vorstellen, die in der Portraitfotografie (Retusche) angewendet werden können und sollten.

Wir werden die Verwendung/Erstellung von Presets und Actions erklären. Wir zeigen genau wie Presets effizient genutzt werden können damit man wieder mehr Zeit zum Fotografieren verwenden kann statt editieren. Natürlich führen wir vor, wie wir unsere Candi Presets verwenden und für alle Teilnehmer gibt es ein einmaliges Spezial Angebot! Read more

Last week we did our first Fusion workshop. Three days of packed information all about shooting videos with your DSLR and about taking photos on the fly. We had a blast with a small group of professional photographers coming from Bayreuth, Würzburg and Rosenheim as well as from Austria.

First day we taught everything you need to know for getting started and why a photographer should include Fusion to his portfolio and that it is not limited to a team of photographers but you can do it as a single shooter as well. Read more

Last weekend we had our first Munich Workshop in 2011 and we were all excited to meet new talented people. A group of three guys even came from Minden all the way down to Munich. That’s a 7h drive, go figure! But also locals (more or less) were part of these two days of teaching and sharing. Read more

Three times blogging a week is lotsa work. We have always wondered how people can blog on a daily basis and doing other work as well during the week. But since we had a busy weekend and quite a lot to share with you, here comes the third (and last) posting for this week.

Vienna is quite a bit do drive and since we have our power converter for the car, we now have plenty of battery time for the Macbook That now helps us use that time more efficiently than in the past.

Friday last weekend we met a super talented and very sweet photographing Mom of three children, Diana Moschitz. She wanted to enter the Sunday workshop but could not make it so she booked us for a one2one session. Technically that’s a two2one thing but let’s not be to precise here Read more
