So here we are, photographing a wonderful wedding in the “Fränkischen Schweiz” and enjoying every minute of it. Denise and Christopher are people with a big heart and we had super fun right at the first meeting we had. Christopher loves white beer and this is a common sense with Ingo already, nothing else to say.

Even the weather went to “kinda cold” last weekend the sun was shining and Schloss Thurn was a fantastic wedding venue for this couple and their guests. From an emotional ceremony to beer tapping via roller coaster rides to delicious dinner as well as having an amazing (!!) rock concert in between, this wedding had it all! They even performed the song Jackson (from Johnny and June Carter Cash) several times and made the guests rave about it like teenagers! Going to that surprise location and back with the theme park train made it once more very special not just for the kids! You know how adults are if they are in a theme park right?

Denise and Christopher had a fantastic day and we were more than honored to be part of it. Thank you both for this experience and we wish you all the best for your future together. Your lives have been a roller coaster so far and we hope this (roller coaster) rides turn into a lifelong wonderful journey from now on!

Checking out there work and about pages who they are and what they do is just the first thing what comes in your mind. Of course we have heard from Angelika and Artur – DieHochzeitsfotografen.de – before but we have never met them in person. We saw them on Hochzeitswahn with this feaured shooting couple of month ago.

We are more than happy that this amazing couple had chosen us to photograph their wedding in Tuscany coming August. We feel very honored because we know there are tons of amazing photogs out there and of course A&A know them all too!

So, two days ago we finally got together to do the long in advanced planed engagement shooting with them and we were totally thrilled getting to know Angelika and Artur and spend the late afternoon with them. They drove all the way with their stunning yellow VW Beetle, which should be part of the shooting too. The four of us squeezed in that old can and we had so much fun driving around outside of Munich and stop now and then to take some shots.

Everyone knows that it’s easy to photograph good looking people and needless to say it even gets easier if you shoot people who know what you might won’t from them. Angelika and Artur really made this a piece of cake for us and we are totally looking forward to their wedding in Italy. Boy is this going to be fantastic scenery! Thank you guys!

We first got contacted by Daniela Kainz Weddings last year as she was helping the couple organize their wedding and also is part of the amazing team at Kavalierhaus Salzburg. We already guessed that an Austrian Russian Wedding will be a superb event and a lot of things will happen.

After getting to know Galina and Fritz during a Skype talk and also hearing their “traveling the world” story and what they have experienced during the last 6 years, we almost could not wait for the big day to come. During this video chat sessions, we really laughed a lot which mostly is the best sign that all four of us have a common sense of humor. During the day, it was so easy for us to make either one of them, or later both, have fun and be how they just normally are.

And then the kissing! We literally could not get a single shot of them where their lips are not attached to each other. Sure that is also a result of the “Gorka, Gorka, Gorka” shouting’s from the guests. (Russian friends, please let us know if we did understand that wrong

So, as said, kissing and drinking Vodka looks like the main activities for bride and groom but there is more. We experienced a very harmonic reception with a lot of Russian traditions as well as emotional speeches from both sides. The mixture of the German and Russian moderation was super fun and gave the entire party a wonderful flare.

What was significant for this wedding was, that once the dancing officially started, almost everyone went out to shake their bodies off and just have a good time with each other. We also brought the Candi Funbox and you bet that these pictures will need some censorship before distributing to the guests

We left a little after the wonderful firework, which was the only time where rain messed the thing a little up but generally the weather could not have been better that day.

Galina and Fritz as well as their guests where up very early again for the next day as they planed a fantastic trip to Winterstellgut and we were more than honored to be part of that day too. Specially the way Ingo could take was a one time moment. A friend gifted Galina and Fritz a Helicopter flight to the Alm and sure someone gotta take pictures too

Needless to say, that a SLK as a wedding gift is more then a perfect present for a bride. So here is to learn something from Fritz how to make presents!

Sitting here and writing/editing these wedding makes us happy to have the best job in the world. We are in love with Russian/Austrian weddings. Thank you to the wonderful and super nice couple for letting us be part of your special day! We wish you all the best and we are looking forward to see you soon again!

Our friend and Germanys best wedding planer, Doreen Winking, again gathered with her professional service suppliers for styling and making the shooting part of the workshop a great experience for our attendees. WOW, we were speechless and still are about all this amazing details and wonderful work. So, besides Doreen we had again stationary from “Die Exklusiven Einladungskarten”, Flowers from “Das Blühende Atelier”, a wonderful wedding dress from “Küss die Braut” and also a special wedding cake from the one and only Heike (Süß und Salzig).

As many of you know, Patricia from Hochzeitswahn is a good friend of ours and we had the great opportunity to get featured right the next day after the shooting on her wonderful blog. If you are a bride to be or a photographer go and check out her inspirational blog and work.

We have no idea about further dates for a Candi Wedding Workshop but we are very sure that we will do this again. It’s not only really fun to teach other photographers how we do it but also see them grow and follow their work afterwards.

Here is to thank everyone who attended the workshop and those helping making it a rememberable experience for all of us. Also a special thank you goes out to Hannah and Jürgen for being our models for the day and for their amazing patience with everyone. We will see soon more from Hannah here in the blog btw

Again we had the pleasure to be at Joe & Ben’s Café and Bar which is the perfect location for the size of about 50+ people. Jochen is doing a great job there and he is very helpful with everything we need. Thanks for this Jochen!

Everytime we meet new people at this meetups they surprise us with how far they travel to be part of this evening. We had people from Linz, Salzburg, Stuttgart and from as far as Switzerland! Also worth mentioning are those coming from like the one hour driving circle from around Munich. It’s such a pleasure to have you all and see you sharing and making new friends through out the evening.

What is already a fix part of the night are the presentations from MWM Members. This time we had Tom Gufler talk about his 1 Million Dollar Album Design Tip. Which was absolute fantastic news and lotsa great information.

Britta Stellmach followed with her talk about her business at “Exklusive Hochzeitsreisen” and how she makes her clients honey moons the best experience ever!

We also had to do some spontaneous talks due to short notice schedule changes and thus Kristina Assenova, a very talented young photographer, was willing to tell a little bit about her and how the first Wedding Meetup lead her to get new friends from America and Germany.

Last but not least, we gave some insights about our trip to WPPI12 in Vegas last February and how inspiring it was to go there. It was again really fun to meet so many talented people and see them connecting and collaborating.

We met Sylvana and Hannes, a wonderful Styria-Tyrol couple, weeks back here in Munich and we immediately had a lot in common. Specially Hannes and Ingo, both loving “Weißbier”. So what could go wrong with this combination? Right, nothing!

Sylvana loved the planning process of her wedding and if you look at all the details and love these guys have put into this event, you might think they have planned it for years. But no, that was, in wedding-time, very short notice!

Firday, first day the official part took place. The civil ceremony in Hall i.T. with Family and close friends only. Right there we knew this is going to be a fun wedding. Very interesting characters even from the US came to celebrate this day of love.

We had a very early wake up call on Saturday and we where almost freezing our a** off in the morning. It had 5 degrees and we could see a lot of snow through the big fog and clouds. It was raining.

It was actually the third time that we have been in Achenkirch (Sporthotel Achensee and Seealm) but it was also the third time that we were worrying about the weather. And this has nothing to do with April. Snow in the Tyrolian mountains can show up right in middle of Summer. But big advantage of this area, it’s still very beautiful. Even without sun!

And we were totally lucky with the shootings and happenings outdoors. Even that it was cold we saw sun and did not had rain at all.

Sylvana and Hannes did an amazing job during the shooting. They were totally patient with and we did not hear any complains regards the temperature.

Everything played so well for them. What we found very special and we totally loved, was the fact that they had their wedding in a church but where allowed to use a wedding speaker to hold the ceremony rather than a religious person. Brigit Grafinger was doing a perfect job and making the ceremony very intimated and also super fun for everyone. We have not counted it but from this wedding we had the most laughing shots from a ceremony in a church. We loved it!

The Seealm is the only location so far we have been three times working with and now it’s proven: The service, staff and food is amazing! We love this location because it has a great option to make a change after the dinner, and we have seen 100% party during the weddings there.

The Candi Funbox came with us too and everyone had great fun taking pictures and being goofy.

So here is to thank our wonderful couple for having us. We are very sure this was not the last time we met and we want to wish you all the best for the future. Have a great honey moon and we talk to you soon!

We also want to thank our dear friend Patricia Hoffmann from Hochzeitswahn for her support and finding the perfect couple for our workshop as well as featuring the pictures right the day after the workshop. Andrea and Fabian have been just a perfect choice to be our wedding couple. They are not only very good looking and comfortable in front of the lens but also very nice and patient with all of us. Thank you guys for the great experience with you!

Through a last years wedding, we found this location which could not be better for such an event. Milan has been a great host and we are looking forward to be there again. Not to forget Kerstin from “Küss die Braut” for providing us a wonderful wedding dress. Looking forward to work with you soon again!

You see, doing something like this is not a two peoples work. And we are really proud of working together with the best in our industry! Thanks again everyone your professional service.

We really enjoyed the 2,5 days with great people from all over Germany and Austria. We emptied our brains for you and we deeply hope we could fulfill all your expectations. Our dear friend and fashion photographer Vineed Modi, who lives in Delhi and Mumbai, invited us long time ago to stay with him during our trip to India and being in Delhi. We recently had met on the last day of our (WPPI) Las Vegas trip too and started to plan some shoots we wanted to do if we are here in Delhi.
This guy has connections everywhere and even talking a lot before we came here, it was a last minute set up thing as our Delhi stop was moved by two weeks earlier.

So we sat down in some place for dinner and Vineet was on the phone for like two hours. After that he said: “We start at 11am and his is the crew!”

Nine people pulled out of nothing for a shooting, a fashion shooting?
We were thrilled and could not wait to get started. With a little Indian delay, where actually the India’s where in time but the westerns not, we started at Vineets house. We got to know everyone and we talked about styling, clothing and locations. One part we really liked, was the production manager. First off we were like, what is this guy doing for his money? But during the day, he turned out be be extremely important. It’s just amazing to have someone around you give a task to and the next time you see him he is back and has complete it. Organizing this and that, just without making you to do more than just wanting it brilliant!

So by around 13:30 the first setup was found and the girls looked breathtaking! Let this show begin!

It was such a pleasure to work it’s all the professionals around us and of course the model experience was stunning. Without saying too much about posing etc, both of them were moving from one great pose to the other with the click of the shutter. To say it with our friend Rudi Klingers words, the whole day was like “Click, Click, WOW”!

Here is to thank Vineet for the organization of is super great day of shooting in his genre and the crew for the outstanding work. We loved working with all of you! See you hopefully soon again.
