Ghost Town | Casual Portrait Session | Las Vegas

wpid23480-IP21103.jpg

We are beyond excited to share this sweet casual portrait shoot with you today. In case you follow us over at Instagram you have noticed and seen that we are on the road again. After some very inspiring and fun days in Vegas during WPPI we are spending some days travelling California and visiting places we missed during our TATW due to heavy rain and flooded roads.

The WPPI will be a total different topic here on the blog as for today we cannot hold back these photos of Carina and Martin anymore. Both of them are from Austria. Carina is a photographer herself and Martin and Ingo know each other literally for about 13 years now. Both went to the same university in Salzburg but never really got connected back then. After meeting Carina at the Second Vienna Wedding Meetup in January it was clear that they would be here during WPPI as well.  Little did we know that these two guys are so much fun! We spend quite some time and we laughed so hard together.

This “Ghost Town” (Google Maps Link – Steetview available – check this out) came up last year during WPPI already when we saw photos from new friends we made here having a shoot out there in the desert. For the past year we always had this in mind and badly wanted to spend a sunset in this gorgeous place.

The owners have collected so much different things and put so much love into holding this place together with tons of details. From old rusty cars to a “crashed” airplane and washed out barns you probably can spend the whole day exploring new things and still have not yet seen it all.

Only thing that you need to do is having 10 bucks/hour ready per photographer and listen to the quick safety instruction. Of course snakes like this place too and a special kind of cactus seams to be really painful if they “hug” you.

Well nuff said for now, please enjoy the LOVE of Carina and Martin. Aren’t they sweet and aren’t these Cali/Nevada people spoiled? Such a beautiful light this is!

Have a good week and talk soon again

Carmen and Ingo

    Liebe Carmen, lieber Ingo,

Was verwendet ihr dafür? Systemblitz?

    lg
    Michael
