Intimate Civil Ceremony Bavarian Style | Nadine and Paul

When Nadine and Paul first contacted us last year in October we unfortunately had to tell them that we are booked for the requested weekend and thus we cannot be part of their wonderful wedding day. That was double sad as the inquiry was so personal and super nice that we knew this would be a great fit for all of us and additionally our heart for India was part of it too.

However, after emailing back and forth they asked if it would be possible just to do the civil ceremony on Friday. Since Saturday was not starting earlier than around noon we were more than happy to say “yes” to this wonderful Bavarian/English couple.

It was just fabulous! Although the rain during the drive to Garmisch made as a little bit nervous for the announced boat drive but when we arrived the sun came out at the day could start.

Nadine and Paul have chosen the Eibseehotel to be perfect location for their international guests. This gave them also the chance to get married on the little island in this colorful lake. It was so intimate and funny and again something new for us.

We often get the question if we ever get bored from wedding photography and it is as simple as you can imagine. Not a single wedding is same as the other one. Besides from the people there are tons of things during a wedding day, which are new to us. Really, this is why we love our job and we totally think we have the best job ever.

Also new to us was the Bavarian Olympics and the amazing Bavarian Buffet. Nadine and Paul had them all, all the typical delicious Bavarian nice food everyone in the world love.

Its been a super fun evening for the guests and a perfect preparation for the main wedding day on Saturday.

As said, we were busy with a wedding in Carinthia so we drove all the way down to Villach again during the night but before we left, we had the wonderful pleasure to meet our Friends Nadia and Eddy again. Guess what? Nadia was booked to capture the main wedding day with here wonderful talent. Yep, no pressure for us to shoot before one of the best wedding photographer from Germany enters the scene.

In addition to all that, we had the pleasure to work with Michelle Kapfer again. Who recommended us to Nadine and Paul while they were looking for a photographer. It’s been a while since we worked together with her but it felt like yesterday.

We would like to thank Nadine and Paul for the trust into us and our work. Great you persist for having during your lovely weekend in the beautiful alps. We can’t wait to meet you guys again and maybe coming back to your initial offer about the Indian meal cooked by Paul ;-)

Have a fantastic honeymoon.

Love

Carmen and Ingo
