If you look at the photos portrait of this portrait session in fantastic evening light, you might think this is another wedding we shot in Tuscany. But here are the news, this is deep Bavarian ground where we are covering the big day of Kerstin and Josef.
Ever since we have met these two people in person for dinner, we knew it’s going to be different to other Bavarian weddings. It’s a mixture of traditions with modern style and we loved it to bits.
Both of them are great musicians and playing (and singing) in more than a handful of (big) bands. So basically their friends were organizing everything and they did hardly know what would happen.
The day started with the civil ceremony with the closest friends and family only, changing dresses in a local museum in between and went on with a wonderful church participating hundreds of people and lots of great music.
The weather was just perfect and the bride and groom could not be happier with how their friends managed the day for them.
Everyone was waiting for the beer to be taped so Josef made the move and as you can see in the picture, he had to shower and change his shirt after that :-)
Every time when our clients take our suggestions seriously about the time when to do the portrait shoot, our heats start vibrating. The Bavarian landscape with this golden light is just too beautiful to NOT shoot for at least 60 minutes
Since Kerstin is a talented photographer herself, she knew that she can make us happy and hence herself with beautiful light :-)
When we came back, the party was in full swing with loud and fantastic music and the party went on and on for sure until the sun came out again.
Here is to thank Kerstin and Josef for putting their trust into our work and us. It was a huge pleasure to be part of your great day and we are looking forward to cross path again someday.
Talk soon and have a great mid of the week everyone!
Carmen and Ingo
