Kerstin and Manuel | Carinthian Summer Wedding

When we first met Kerstin and Manuel we totally connected after a few minutes. It was one of those meetings where you talk very little about the actually wedding but more about the people and their lives.

At this point we don’t want to forget to thank Pierre, whom we know from this amazing wedding from two years back, he was the one recommending us to this gorgeous couple. (Also very happy that we will be having a wedding in 2014 with this cool group of people again! So see you soon :-)

Kerstin and Manuel are dating each other for 13 (!!) years now and it’s a true pleasure to be part of their big day in wonderful locations at Wörthersee. The getting ready took place in Schlosshotel Velden. Which could not have been better for that day. Also for the quick portrait session we did there. The mixture of modern and old architecture is brilliant and big bright walls bounce beautiful light even at 12 noon.

All the guests were transported by boat to the lovely church Maria Wörth, Manuel and his best man (and Ingo) took the speedboat to get there. Fantastic and fun idea btw ;-) Everyone had itchy feed to see the beautiful bride and you could hear the people stop breathing while Kerstin walked into the church guided by her father and a couple of sweet kids.

We loved the priest! Have you ever experienced people applauding a priest when he left the church after the bride and groom? So you can imagine how fun that church was. This man really made the ceremony fly by very fast for everyone.

After the agape the guests jumped on the boat to get back to the reception venue Saag-Ja. In case you remember this, we have done a wonderful wedding last year at that venue so we knew that the evening would be epic.

For the bride and groom as well as a bunch of girls and boys along with them chartered two speed boats and started for a race. Boy, together with the helicopter flight from last year, this was the most fun adventure part of a wedding ever.  Everyone had really a ton of fun and you can see on the photos of Manuel, that he never stopped laughing out lout during that 40 minutes ride. It was really really fast.

Saag-Ja, one of the best and award winning restaurants in Carinthia, was again a gorgeous location for a summer wedding. After the super delicious dinner, another highlight for the guests was announced, Eric Papilaya, July together with Jackson Eleven rocked the stage for about two hours. We never thought two hours of Michael Jackson music could keep a wedding crowed partying. But this guys really made everyone dancing for two hours with literally now pause! Stunning!

Here is to thank Kerstin and Manuel for an incredible wedding experience and a wonderful day. We wish you lovebirds a wonderful and long living  life together. We hope to meet someday soon again. All the best!

Love

Carmen and Ingo

Super!
