Last weekend we enjoyed being part of a multilingual wedding in Austria. With multilingual we mean that there where at least 7 languages talked that day. The bride herself speaks 5 languages fluently and this does not include the Latin ceremony in the church ;-)
Dominika and Stephan are from Germany and they decided to get married in beautiful Austria. In fact, we spend a lot of our time during the past in Fuschl too and this place is one of the most beautiful places in the Salzburg region. Our couple chose the location Ansitz Wartenfels as their getting ready and party venue. The church ceremony took place in St. Gilgen a.W.The guests came from literally all over the world to be part of the special day. Coming from Washington and Sydney and almost all over Europe speeches were held in German, Polish, Norwegian and English. But we also heard a lot of French people talking too.
Ansitz Wartenfels seems to be the perfect wedding location and the stuff is really professional and very nice. It was a very hot day and the weather could not have been better. From our point of view we were happy to do the shooting very late in the afternoon. Still the “straw bed” we wanted to include into the shooting was in the bright sun without any chance for shade at all. So we decided with the help of Tanja (from the venue) to get some huge bed sheets in order to create the best light you can think of. (BTS here)
All in all we had a lot of fun! We want to thank Dominika and Stephan for the great day and hope to meet them sometime soon again.
Love from Munich
