Last week we told you here about the Candi Fusion of this wonderful wedding in Cyprus. In case you missed it, head over to the post here after you looked at the photos below.
The 20th September was in our calendar for quite a long time, more than a year in advanced actually and we could not wait to enjoy this beautiful and (for us) new country.
When we found out, that we (yes, that’s a we) are pregnant, we both turned white in our faces when we looked over our bookings. Damn, that’s going to be close to the due date. How long can one jump on a plane if pregnant? Turns out, that most airlines (you need to study their terms and conditions) let you fly till the 36th week if you bring some papers from your doc. So it was 33rd week, everything should be ok. Let’s do this!
But sure, everything could happen so we just hoped for the best and searched for a great backup, just in case to know our clients are all set if we, for some reason, could not be part of the wedding.
Manuela attended our workshop in 2012, is a super sweet and humbled person with a huge talent. Check out her work right here. She was just perfect fit for this job together with our internal team.
The wedding was something totally different of us and very traditional, beautiful and emotional. We are always super thankful if we get to attend a new wedding tradition and we soak up every minute of it. Getting ready took place in Nicosia, church an party in Larnaca.
Julia and Giovanni is an Austrian couple with “half” Cyprus roots. It’s such a compliment if we are able to be part of a wedding in remote countries.
We mentioned this already but the LIGHT was to die for and we fell in love with the very dry Nevada-like landscape from the first second. Can you believe that there is a dry salt lake in Larnaca? Just right next to downtown :)
Here is to thank J&G for their patience with us, during the day (especially the shoot) and we wish you all the best for your future together. We are very sure our path will cross someday again.
