No one cares about rain | Anna and Sebastian

Everyone is complaining about the bad weather in the last weeks well actually since Christmas right? About eight degrees Celsius at the end of May is not what you want or wish for your wedding day. Neither you want a wedding day without a single dry minute.

For us photographers it’s a challenge. Not to handle a rainy day, no, the challenge is to convince people that rain is not the end of the world. Of course if your wedding ceremony is held outside in the garden in middle Europe you have to have a plan B right?

This wedding of Anna and Sebastian was different in so many ways. These guys live in Dubai right now and thus the sun and heat is their daily friend or enemy. Of course they wanted a sunny wedding day but we haven’t heard anyone complaining during the day.

We normally don’t do back to back weddings but Anna and Sebastian inquired on a very personal level so we clarified the schedule for the Saturday wedding in Dürnstein (coming to the blog soon) and since we started their at 1 pm we could manage to drive the 4h to Vienna over night.

And we are very happy we did that! A&S flew in from Dubai couple of weeks ago to meet us in person and believe it or not, they did not talk more than 10 words about their own wedding. Sitting at the local Indian restaurant in Olching, we talked about life and travels, how work is in Dubai and so many other things. This is the moment where we experience first hand, that our clients don’t book us only because of pretty photos, they hire us as the persons we are. The biggest compliment we can get! Thank you Anna and Seb for that fun evening!

Schloss Amerang, near Chiemsee, is of course a stunning location to celebrate your wedding ceremony as well as the reception and party when the sun is out. Even we have never been there before we can now say, that this is the perfect location for a day full of rain. Why? Simply because the rain does not bother at all. The entire atrium is covered with a huge white plastic sheet and its light flooded.

From getting ready, the first look, the intimate ceremony in the small chapel (build in the castle) tee time as well as to the reception – No one had to leave the castle for anything and thus it was like a normal, sunny but cold summer day.

Anna has lived in Scotland for about four years and a bagpipe player surprised the couple and played some amazing songs for the family and friends. Big time for emotions!

For the first time ever we brough our brand new Candi Funbox (2.0) We will be introducing this to the blog in more detail soon, but what people LOVE is the direct printing option! This just rocks. You can see some prints on photos further down.

Here is to THANK YOU, Anna and Sebastian, for putting trust into our work and us, it has been a special honor to meet you and cover your wonderful day. All the best for you both and hoping to meet someday soon again.

Love

Carmen and Ingo

Was für eine wunder, wunderbare Hochzeit… traumhaft. Ein traumhaftes Kleid, ein wunderschönes Ambiente. Und Fotos zum verlieben (: PS: Ich dachte schon, bei euren Hochzeiten regnet es nie :D aber: no one cares about rain – man sieht es den Fotos nicht an. Toll wie immer!
