We have been sitting on needles during the last weeks in order to show you this wonderful casual portrait session we did during our short trip to Switzerland. We were visiting our friends Alice and Jochen (see this shooting here) for a couple of days. So they told all their friends that they should talk the chance to meet with us for a shooting too.
“Holy moly, easy job!” was the first thought coming to both of our minds as we walked up the stairs and Ivan opened the door. Short behind him his beautiful girl friend Manuela. Prior to the shoot we emailed back and forth with them and we knew that the chemistry will be working as well. We also asked them some questions about accessories to bring for the shoot. Manuela told us, they will bring a car which was build and designed by her great-grandfather. We haven’t thought about googling her last name by that time but if we would have, we would have found this wiki story.
The fantastic evening light already thrilled us the other day and we knew the weather is not going to change during sunset. So we had a beautiful couple, a stunning car (Enzmann Spider 506) and the most beautiful light you might get here in Europe. Easy Job! Right?
Needless to say that we had a freaking blast with Manuela and Ivan during and after this casual portrait session. Thank you guys for your patience and your time. It would be a pleasure to meet you someday soon again. No matter for which happening ;-)
All the best from Munich
Carmen and Ingo
PS: in case we haven’t said it or you have missed it: WE LOVE OUR JOB!
PPS: some numbers about the Enzmann Spider: ca 100 ever produced, 20 which are still around but only 13 drivable! (source wiki)
