Saag-Ja at Wörthersee | Gerhild and Martin

Coming weekend we will be again at the wonderful largest Carinthian Lake – Wörthersee. Spending more time in Carmens home city than the years before. No doubt, it’s a very beautiful area and if the weather plays in well, the Wörthersee offers a superb location.

After heading from Garmisch to Villach overnight on the first June weekend, a fantastic day with Gerhild and Martin was waiting for us. We met them first in a sweet café in Vienna earlier this year and it was pretty sure we would have a blast during their wedding day.

The church ceremony was held in Martins home town Feldkirchen and we then headed back to the reception location directly at the lake. The venue, called Saag-Ja, is really beautiful and is well know for its delicious kitchen. (award winning!!)

Before the guests arrived by bus we had some time to use the locations around the restaurant for our formal shooting. Totally great mixture of locations within hundreds of meters.

The weather was forecasted with heavy rain actually but we have not seen a single drop. Its just been perfect. The evening was very nice with very emotional speeches, amazing food and lotsa dancing.

Funny thing is, good friends of Gerhild and Martin have hired us for their wedding in September as well. But they know us from completely different ways and did not know about this since they met during our first meeting. Small world right? Here is their wedding from September 2012 LINK.

So we know we will see you again Gerhild and Martin in September. Here is to wish you all the best for your future and we are looking forward seeing you on Ursula’s and Stefan’s wedding in Vienna.
