We were really looking forward to this wedding in Salzburg. Thomas was actually a fellow student from Ingo. So he was connected through Facebook for quite some time already and it was a super surprise to see his inquiry last year.
To also get to know his beautiful fiancée we met them last year for a nice dinner. Hui Lin has Vietnamese, Cambodian and Chinese roots and it’s so fun to hear her talking a dialect from Salzburg as she was born there.
Both are super charming and we could not wait to meet them again. They have chosen the Kavalierhaus in Klessheim for their celebration as well as for the reception. Everything was in one place besides the getting ready. We have been at this location earlier this year and we know that the surrounding will be perfect for them to do the formal portraits too. So no need to drive longer distances at all and great space to take the driving shots with their Vespas.
The beautiful wedding ceremony was held in the garden followed by the typical Asian tea ceremony. It’s our first time ever that we are part of an Asian wedding and it’s very interesting to learn these new and totally different traditions.
The weather for that Saturday was just perfect. Right for the portrait shoot the sun came out and we had our beloved evening light.
If you ever get married at that location, be sure you have your first dance during sunset. We have never had a more beautiful light during the first dance than this time. Lucky we!
Here is to wish Hui Lin and Thomas all the best for their future together and we thank you so much for your trust into our work and us. Hope to see you soon again.
