It becomes a tradition already, that at least once a year we have the great opportunity to travel to beautiful Styria to cover a wedding. “Upper Styria” was a new place to visit for both of us. Even being Austrians we of course have not seen every place of our home country but we are getting there to discover it all due to our dream job.
Birgit and Edgar are two beautiful and very laid-back people and they have chosen the Castle Gabelhofen to be the place for their civil ceremony and reception.
After the getting ready the family and friends headed to Maria Buch for the church. Not a typical way to have the church before the civil ceremony but we are happy to see that couples are trying everything to make their day like they want it to be, not as a tradition or some strange rules are forcing them to do it.
Edgar is part of a catholic fraternity so his brothers and friends gave him the honor to be part of the celebration.
Everyone was really happy that the dark clouds were passing by the castle area and the civil ceremony could take place outside as well as the sun came out again later that evening and gifted us with some backlight shots as usually :-)
We would like to again thank Birgit and Edgar for having us and wishing both of them good luck for the future and the big projects coming up.
Have a great weekend everyone
Carmen and Ingo
