Candi Workshop

Candi Wedding Workshop | Botanica Theme in Verona

It’s exactly two years ago that we have held the last live workshop. Since we have been teaching the same concept a couple of times we offered the workshop for digital purchase over the last months. We didn’t realize that a lot of people were interested into the live shoot and being part of a physical, group workshop.

So we thought about doing a one-time revival this autumn to gather those who are interested into „Learn How We Do It 2.0“ an updated version for 2015. To our surprise, the workshop was sold out within 24h and we added a second date (a week later), which was gone very quickly as well. We were speechless (rare moments) and very honored!

Little did we know that there would be more than 80% attendees of those who have seen the Video Workshop already. That means, we were challenged to create a brand new Workshop with lots of new content.

We tried to find a good balance between very important, still valid topics in our daily business as well as new approaches we have added over the last years.

This all happened last week in Verona at the wonderful Villa Mosconi Bertani. A fantastic venue we have had the pleasure to work at already at this wedding. <LINK>

THANK YOU Giovanni for having us at your wonderful place for these workshops. We could not be happier than at your venue!

A Candi Wedding Workshop wouldn’t be possible without our friend Doreen Winking. She again was responsible for table settings and details. Once again, she did the impossible with a totally creative and not yet seen concept. Together with long time partners like Sonja Bührke (Die Exklusiven Einladungskarten), Julia from Blumen Hörl as well as Heike Krohz from Süß & Salzig they created a stunning, botanica themed styled shoot for our attendees.

As always, when our attendees see the concept, it’s the first time we see it too. So imagine the surprise for all of us! Just phenomenal and outstanding setting.  THANK YOU all for being such a creative team.

Further we had a beautiful Rue de Seine dress powered by a brand new bridal boutique called FEINSTENS. It happens to be a new business of our long time friend and fellow photographer Manuela Kalupar. You have to check out her new Store in Linz. Just perfect for brides to be!

Big thanks as well to Jannie Baltzer and her amazing headpieces placed by the H&M Team from Roberta Caciola.

A very big THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts go out to the Models. We know a full day shooting is very exhausting on both sites of the camera but these six beauties have done such a brilliant job. Thank you for your patience and the sweet and warm laughter’s along the way. Thank you Svala and Dieter, Michael and Maria as well as Nicole and Johannes. You guys rock!

The full project would not be possible with our hard working, very own Candi Team Member Marina Scholze! BIG THANK YOU for helping us during the days (and always) as well as for taking care of Malia when we are needed elsewhere.

BIG THANK YOU, goes out to Carolin Anne Fotogafie for her support during the workshop days and for taking some BTS as well as being a fun and sweet person on our side for two days.

Enough thank yous: here are some impressions of the first of two workshops in Verona. The next one is just around the corner. We are out anyway since we are having a big day today: Malia’s first birthday! WOHOOO!

Enjoy and talk soon

Carmen and Ingo
