Candi Workshop

Candi Wedding Workshop | FALL IN LOVE in Verona

Thank you for coming back for todays feature of our last weeks workshop in Verona, Italy.

It has been the second of two workshops in a row and we were super happy to gather so many talented and fun people in Italy to shoot and learn together. In case you missed the first Workshop in Verona, HERE is the post about it.

We are extremely honored and thankful about the interest into these workshops and cannot believe how far people travel to be part of it. BIG THANK YOU to all the attendees, models and the entire workshop team.

Especially to our friend and leading wedding planer Doreen Winking for her continuous support of our workshops. We are very happy to have her doing the concept and styling part every time and thus giving our attendees something special and extremely beautiful to photograph.

Once again it’s been just perfect for this time of the year. It was to “FALL IN LOVE” with.

Candi Workshop Team evergreen Sonja Bührke (Die Exklusiven Einladungskarten) brought in the stationary matching the concept and supported by wonderful flowers of Petra Müller. Literally the “icing on the cake” has been once more Krohz from Süß & Salzig with her specialties.

You can hear people saying that this kind of concept and styling isn’t real and no one has something like this for their own wedding.  So let us get this straight: People do have styling’s like this for their wedding and rooms are filled with beautiful decorations and flowers like this one table setup. Everyone of those service suppliers involved in our workshop projects does this for a living and styled shoots like are just the perfect way to inspire future brides. Simply show them what is possible and can be done.

So please a round of applause for the team around Doreen Winking for the autumn inspiration. THANK YOU ALL so MUCH!

The dress was again a beautiful Rue de Seine dress powered by the brand new bridal boutique called FEINSTENS in Linz run by fellow photographer Manuela Kalupar. Visit her in Linz in her new store and say “HI” from us.

For the engagement shoot the folks from Noni provided us their Marthilda tulle skirt and it looked fantastic and matched the scene perfectly. HUGE THANK YOU to Johanne and her team!

We combined the wedding dress with a utterly lovely head piece from Jannie Baltzer and had once again a team from Roberta Caciola doing the hair and makeup part of our gorgeous models.

The weather wasn’t as nice as we would have loved it to be and it got a bit chilly already. But our models where brave and super patient with all of us and made it easy to work with them. THANK YOU GUYS so much! Thank you Erika and André, Isabella and Martin as well as Kathrin and Michael.

The Villa Mosconi Bertani has so much to offer no matter if it rains or the sun is shining. We are very happy and thankful to have had the chance to be there for both workshops. We cannot wait to be back and maybe shoot a wedding there in the next years. Giovanni is pretty well booked already so if you are looking for a great venue for your wedding, be fast and get in touch with them.

For the evening shoots we have tried something new and used the LED lights from Midnight Sparks in Singapore. These lights are incredible bright but still very small and easy to use. They are running on batteries or power supply and we got some pretty sweet shots at the very end of the day. Thank you Eileen for providing them. Check out the website HERE.

Last but certainly not least, we would be able to concentrate on teaching during these days if we would not have hard working assistants. THANK YOU Marina Scholze for your great support all over the year and during the workshop time in particular. And second assistant Inka English for traveling far and being an important help during the workshop time.

This has been the last workshop for 2015 and we don’t know yet what will happen 2016. But if you would like to be first noticed about a new workshop date, we highly recommend signing our newsletter HERE. First dates are always released to the Candi Community and newsletter subscribers.

Much appreciated if you read that far ;-) and here are our impressions of the 8th Candi Wedding Workshop in Verona.

All the best and talk soon

Carmen and Ingo
