DIY Wedding in mint | Frederike and Dominik

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure to be part of a wonderful do-it-yourself-wedding near Coburg. Frederike and Dominik are dating each other since ages and they have put a massive amount of hours into producing details and props for their unique wedding. We have had a booking for their initial requested date and it is the biggest compliment we can get, if people postpone their big event to a date the wedding photographer is still available. It is a true pleasure to work with people who value photos as much as we do.

We knew that this is going to be a very special wedding (week) when they introduced us to their big ideas during our meeting last year. Together with many of their friends and also with much help from the lovely wedding planer Kathrin Otzmann (kola weddingz) they have put together this eye-candy for about 80 guests.

So not only photos were important, but so many other things as well. Every place we went, from getting ready to church, garden party to the reception hall, everything was styled to every last detail. To give you one example how deep they went with DIY: 80 hand painted (white) chairs with (self) sewn chair cushions for the garden party. The list goes on… you name it!

But we weren’t missing emotions at all. Rike and Dominik are very sweet people and you could see their love for each other sparkling between them. You know if people are nice if you look at their friends, right? And they had a big bunch of great friends. We have heard great stories about the last year of doing evening workshops at their homes every other night :-)

Here is to many more years of LOVE and great friends. We wish you all the best and thank you for having us being part of this beautiful day.

Carmen and Ingo

Einfach wunderschön. Wildfremde Menschen, aber das Bild mit dem Brautvater in der Tür hat mir direkt Tränen in die Augen getrieben.
