Last year we had the honor to cover Gerhild’s and Martin’s wedding in Carinthia. There we first met Rike and Holger as they are neighbors and very good friends of the former bride and groom. Later that year we spend a great time with Jasmin and Simon in Thailand, which are very good friends of these both couples. Even though they said it had nothing to do with that, Rike and Holger hired us just right after our Thailand vacation for being part of their wedding in Austria.
We still don’t know if Jasmin and Simon where only spying for them in our holidays. Hahah! Just kidding!
So beginning of May it was about time for them to invite this entire amazing people to the wonderful Schloss Mühldorf in Upper Austria. There is nothing like arriving to a group of young people and getting involved into the party and get together right away. It feels like hanging out with old friends and having a good time.
By starting with the getting ready on Saturday we almost knew all the family and friends and we were lucky to have a perfect summer weather for the entire day.
The castle presented itself in the best way it could. The intimate and charming surrounding is perfect for a wedding or family event. The staff and service was super nice , incredible food and the accommodations are very comfortable.
Not far from the Castle the wedding ceremony took place up on a small hill called St. Gotthard.
Pretty decent view from up there and the guests enjoyed a good time in the sun. While preparing for the reception dinner, we sneaked out to do a couple of shots with bride and groom in the pre-scouted locations in the castles garden. Plenty of photo opts there.
Here is to thank Rike and Holger (and your sweet little son) for having us with them during this amazing day! All the best for your future together and we very are looking forward meeting you soon again.
