Alison and Zach | American Dream Wedding | Italy

It’s been quiet here, we know. The reason is called Malia Sari and turned six weeks yesterday. More about that is coming soon too. Today is wedding time again.

Believe it or not, this wedding sits here since over a year and waits to get its fame on our blog. August 2013, a week long wedding celebration in Tuscany (Italy). Yes, a week and we were honored to be part of that and capture 5 days of it on photos and video forever.

It all started in Florence and ended in Portofino at the La Cervara wedding venue. That’s where Rod Stewart and Wayne Rooney got married too. All planed and styled by the ever-amazing girls from Design Anarchy Studio. Thank you Clara and Eva, you did such a fantastic job with your team.

The reasons why we could not blog it earlier were due to a long submission marathon. It was supposed to be in Martha Stewart Weddings but there was a conflict with a wedding of an celebrity (John Legend:-) with similar style and also in Italy.  Which delayed the process a lot and we all wanted to move on at some point.

We were happy to have our good friend Kate from Magnolia Rouge who was accepting the submission for her amazing Magazine issue #7. We have the printed version here and it is fantastic to be surrounded by all those amazing photographers. We are honored!

Ali and Zach, and the entire family and friends, are such amazing people! From the very first minute we met them (till today) we were treaded like we have always been part of their family. Lovely people, tons of fun and great humor plus aren’t day good looking?

It was the larges wedding assignment we have had till date and we kinda knew this before, this would be a BIG FAT WEDDING, but we have had no idea HOW big and fat this wedding actually was.

Looking back today, we could have brought 2 more shooters and 2 more video people and all of them would have been busy for the wedding day without a break :)

With Candi Funbox and some video projection we were lucky to have Marina (that was her first wedding with us) and Thomas to help during the wedding day. It was such a huge support.

 

We could go on and on and talk about this weeklong for hours but it is best described in photos and video. So here they are…

Here is to hug Alison and Zach! We love you guys and we are super thankful to have met you and we are honored to be part of your family. A big THANKS for your trust into us and our work before you even knew us in the first place.
