Boatlove at the lake

Hi there,

hope you had a great easter weekend with your beloved ones. We certainly did. Family and friends, lotsa food, conversations and tons of fun. We have to get rid of the extra pounds soon (or get new trousers ;)).

A week ago we had the pleasure to photograph Sabrina and Joe, a young Austrian couple deeply in love.

Chasing Snow in the Austrian Alps| Nina and Patrick

Thank you all so much for the huge response to our last couple shoot and the fact that we are moving back to Austria. Very much appreciated your time checking out our work.

Austria is a country that is graced with beautiful mountains. When we were kids we rarely had a winter without big amounts of snow all over the place. The recent years, at least around Christmas have been different though. Continue Reading

We want a desert shoot

Back in October last year the couple inquired regarding their wedding in Mallorca 2015. Couple of days later the booking was sealed! It’s of course early but not untypical for the first bookings to be around 1,5 years in advanced. But it’s perfect to get excited for the season after the season! ;-) We love that light in Mallorca and we always wanted to be back soon! Continue Reading

Good bye 2013 | Claudia and Ricky | Cape Town

It’s been quite here on our blog recently. Believe it or not, that’s a good sign actually. It means we are having time for each other instead of continuously working.

We don’t write “this end-of-year-reviews blog posts” instead we reflect for ourselves, what great time we had and how spoiled we are to live our dream and to do what we love. Here is to thank all of you who support our work: Family, friends and of course clients. The best on the planet actually! Continue Reading

Did we mention that we love our job? Well if not, YESSS we do! We love to travel and we love to capture the time of two people in love and if both comes together our feelings go crazy!

Before we are heading to our last wedding tomorrow we want to brighten your day with these two sweeties. Michaela and Jan decided to get married in Mallorca and the day before wedding we had the pleasure to take them to the beach and spend the evening time with them taking photos in perfect light. Casual Portrait Session | Wen-Hong and Sascha | Vienna

For those of you who follow our Facebook and Instagram have noticed, that we where quite a bit on the road recently. Since end of July we have spent 29 days somewhere else. That on one hand means, we meet many lovely people all over Europe and the world but also, we lack a bit in blogging since we are in the field gathering images and shooting really much assignments. So we are sorry for being slow here in the blog but we work hard to show you the prettiness we got to see this summer soon on this page. Continue Reading

Dani and Lars | First Portrait shoot after 12 years

Happy Monday everyone! Ok, we know, that for most of the people Monday isn’t the most favorite day of the week but still have a good one :-)

We are back in town after a long car ride up to the “north” of Germany. Yea, Rheinland ist not the top “north” but coming from Austria, living in Bavaria, everything further up is Northern Germany. Sorry to say that but this is the truth :-)

Mostly we travel to our clients, but sometimes they come a long way to us as well. Dani and Lars are based in Leipzig and we have had the pleasure to do a casual portrait session with them. Daniela Müller, is a talented photographer her self and we first met during on of our Candi Wedding Workshops last year. Lars, as you can see in the photos, is a professional sports men or at least was one while playing professional Ice hockey in the top German league. Continue Reading

Madeleine and Mario | Casual Portrait Session | Swiss Light

We have been in Switzerland to shoot an incredible wedding in Rapperswill the other week. Still hoping to show you something from that wonderful day. Working on it.

When ever we are in Switzerland, the light and the sun is with us. People say it isn’t that way all the time and we are very lucky. If you remember last year, we had the same beautiful evening light during our shoots. Check this out here. Continue Reading

Indonesian E-Shoot in Austria | Love has no Boundaries

When we first got the inquiry from Ardya and Imal back in October last year the wording was so lovely and personal that we totally knew this will be a fun couple to work with. Ardya has left a super personal message in our inbox and we were super happy, that after more than half a year they could manage to meet with us in order to hang out and do a photo shoot together.

Their story shows again how small this world actually is. Both coming originally from Jakarta they met in Erfurt during their studies abroad. They did not know each other but are actually studying the same subject: Architecture! Two years ago they fell in love with each other but Imal finished his studies already and had to be back home for work. Continue Reading

Casual Portrait Session | BFF | Villach

During our stays in Carmen’s home town we not only have her Mom hosting us but also some of our best friends. Ingrid and Stefan, aka Stinglight Photography, are dear friends since years. Stefan is Ingo’s longest – more then half of our lives already – and best friend.

When they got married back in 2008 we were of course part of the wedding and did also shoot a lot of photos during that day. Ingrid was that kind of bride who spent a lot of time in Internet forms and thus she of course shared our photos on those platforms. The huge response from that was one of many reasons that we started this all out. Continue Reading

Jaime and Chase | Get in Front of the Lens

We do it at least once a year to be in front of a lens of another photographer whom we admire and love to work with. For those of you coming regularly here to our blog might have seen this last years shoot in Tuscany with our dear friend Nadia Meli or this one with Mike and Rachel Larson.

The reasons for such an annual shoot are obvious. You get fantastic pictures and second, as a photographer, you gotta see how this person works :-) Continue Reading

Between forest and beach | Monterey | California

Marele and Luis are two expats from South Africa living in the Bay Area. During our trip through California last month we were lucky to do a couple of shoots with some very cool people.

We met them one day between Carmel (by the Sea) and Monterey to do a casual portrait session in this stunning scenery of this part of California. We talked about the fantastic light there already and even though we did not have much sun that day it was still different to what we have here in Europe. Continue Reading
