It’s almost two years ago, that this lovely Dutch/Australian couple inquired for their chic countryside orangery wedding outside of Amsterdam. We were super stoked to be back in the Netherlands last summer after we first visited the country in 2012 for these two Kiwis and their special day.
We love Amsterdam. The city has such a fascinating architecture and a special flare. If you have ever visited the city, you know what we want to say. And if not, you gotta go there.
Luckily the weather was pretty stable and sunny, which we learned can be the complete opposite as well.
Since we only had email conversation for more than 1,5 years prior to the wedding, we could not wait to meet the bride and groom the week before the wedding in person. We hung out for a late breakfast in one of the many stylish bakeries and had a fun time talking about life and traveling.
The getting ready started Saturday morning in Amsterdam two beautiful private locations. The ceremony took place about 1,5h south of Amsterdam in a beautiful place called Domaine d’Heerstaayen. It’s a lovely location run by a sweet couple who put lots of love into this place.
Friends and family came from all over the world to whiteness the LOVE between Marloes and Steve. We very much enjoyed to be part of their intimate wedding and are very grateful for the trust into our work and us.
By no means do we take it for granted to shoot weddings all over Europe and travel for our clients. It’s a challenge with our baby but due to the amazing help of the one and only PA Marina Scholze we are able to continue to do what we love.
Here is to thank Marloes and Steve for having us. All the best for your future together and we hope we cross path again someday.
LOVE
