Color up the Winter | After Wedding | Sabrina and Hubert

We hope everyone is already prepared for some relaxed and calm down Christmas time with family and friends. But before we let you go to eat and celebrate the next days we would like to share the colorful after wedding shoot of Sabrina and Hubert with you.

The response to the recent post of their wedding has blown us away. If you have missed that, please be sure you check this fairytale wedding right here. We are so humbled about all the nice words on Facebook and here on the blog. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

But let’s move on to the next step we did with Sabrina and Hubert as well as with a big part of their gang.

When we got hired for their wedding photography Sabrina, and very unlikely not Hubert, also wanted to do a after wedding shoot (formerly also known as trash the dress shoot – TTD)

We got one picture via email where bride and groom had some watercolors in buckets to through around in a white room. So they wanted something with colors in the shoot.

While we have tried to get some original Holi colors from India (we have seen them in action already -> LINK) we discussed several options as well. But we knew that beginning of December any watered solution will not work at all. It was kinda freezing cold and only thinking of getting wet makes your hands and everything shake.

Unfortunatelly we could not get the original Holi colors from India but luckily since beginning of November, Amazon has them in stock! Problem solved :-)

While having dinner with our friend Doreen Winking, who was the wedding planer for this gorgeous wedding, Friday night, we talked about Alice in Wonderland and that the only thing which is missing might be a white little fluffy rabbit for Sabrina and Hubert to hold. Two minutes later, we have posted a Twitter and Facebook message, that we are are looking for that around Kitzbühel and if someone knows someone, please contact us.

Another ten minutes later, we got a call from Leonie Rofner, who is btw a make up artist as well, that she could forward us a contact to someone who has exactly what we are looking for. Even it did not work out for the wedding day, we are super happy that we got a couple of minutes to work with the sweet fluffy rabbit at the after wedding shoot. For Sabrina and Hubert it was a nice surprise and you should have seen their both eyes.

While moving on to the next scene with horses and ponies we could not wait for the color battle to begin. After having some incredible fun time with the horse and the ponies, especially with the slightly “hangoverish” Hubert, we moved on to get the color party started. We instructed the folks quickly and had one dry run first before the battle started. See for your self now what came out of this.
