Early last year when we got the inquiry of J&K in our inbox saying that a Tyrolean girl wants to get married to a Californian guy (both living in New York) we knew: We definitely have to be part of this winter wedding dream. And humbled and luckily, we were there in January to capture this amazing day deep in the Alps.
Jessica is born in Trins and her family has a wonderful hotel they chose to hold their wedding reception including getting ready in the morning.
When you plan your wedding during this time of the year, you want snow and sun. Both aren’t granted up at 1200m in the Alps but when we woke up on Saturday to this view our hearts were already full.
The getting ready took place in the new renovated rooms of the hotel with family and friends, some Whiskey and lotsa fun. Nobody seemed to be nervous though :) This changed the closer the ceremony came.
Accompanied by traditional yet modern music, Jessica and her dad entered the light flooded church. Some true WOW moments right there. Everyone’s eyes seemed to glow.
Not shooing a wedding for one or two month made us miss those moments. Moments when we are lucky to hide behind a black camera.
The day continued like this. Even though it was quite cold, we had plenty of time to go out into the snow to shoot some sweet portraits with bride and groom before the party started.
Jessica and Kevin, both are working in the design business and we loved how they blended Tyrolean tradition and Austrian nature with modern style. Not easy to organize btw, since they moved to Sydney a couple of month before the wedding.
The evening was full with amazing, honest and emotional speeches, tears and lotsa laughter’s. A beautiful romantic first dance and a fun party. We heard they did not stop after we packed our cameras away :)
Here is to thank you both warmhearted people for an amazing wedding day and for having us be part of it. For us it was a perfect kick off for our 2017 wedding season.
All the best and hope to see you soon.
LOVE
Carmen and Ingo

6. April 2019 at 10:16Eine Schneelandschaft ist etwas ganz besonders. Wenn dann in dieser einmaligen Schneelandschaft ein tolles Brautpaar ist, dann haben sich drei gesucht und gefunden.
Tolle Fotos mit herrlich lebendigen Emotionen.
