Alexandra and Diego | A Tuscan Dream Wedding

When a brazilian guy falls in love with an austrian girl, you can be sure that it’s going to be a wonderful and passionate adventure.

What a wedding! In May 2018 we had the great pleasure to be a part of Alexandra and Diegos astounding three day wedding celebration in the beautiful Belmond Castello di Casole and even though it was a lot of work we enjoyed every single minute of it.

Starting with an authentic italian market, only organized for the to-be husband and wife and their guest, the actual wedding day, including an amazing after party and on the third day a brazilian pool party in honor of Diegos Birthday. What can you say, the location as well as the weather did not let us down, the sun was trying to outshine the natural beauty of the bride and the old walls of the former abbey Abbazia San Galgano completed the rustic yet extremely elegant look.

Speaking of elegance we have to talk about the wedding gown, well both of the wedding dresses to be precise. Ralph and Russo surely outdid themselves. A 60kg dress, handmade and embroidered with the most delicate Swarovski crystals and a six meter long train. As the bride walked down the aisle and the orchestra started playing, everyone raised themselves as well as their emotions and it became one of the most touching weddings we have ever attended. Their dogs being ring carriers was surely amazing but the real highlight was the magnificent dance Alexandra rehearsed with an (award winning dance team) in London. It was amazing.

The speeches, the out of this world flower decorations, the cake and the fireworks – close attention has been given to every detail in the effort to ensure a perfect outcome. The loudest applause goes to …. and … and of course to all the service providers (from whom about 50% usually work for the queen, can you imagine?) who managed to put this celebration together so wonderfully.

Also a huge thank you to Marina, who supported us and helped to capture every single one of the amazing moments happening.

And yes, there are thousands of words in both of our languages but for some reason none of them could ever describe how you make me feel.
