Being in Italy for weddings always means we are trying to get hold to our most favorite Italian Wedding Planer – Chic Weddings – owned by Eva and Clara.

First of all we would like to apologize if you are coming to see the number #10 tip of the Candi Guide, since today is our first wedding anniversary this has to wait for Tuesday :)
So here we are now, a year later. Twelve month. WOW! It’s been a really great first year actually and there is not a single day where we aren’t walking down the memory lane.
It’s been quiet here, we know. The reason is called Malia Sari and turned six weeks yesterday. More about that is coming soon too. Today is wedding time again.
Believe it or not, this wedding sits here since over a year and waits to get its fame on our blog. August 2013, a week long wedding celebration in Tuscany (Italy). Yes, a week and we were honored to be part of that and capture 5 days of it on photos and video forever.
Yesterday we reached 15000 likes on Facebook. It’s a big number but it doesn’t really count. What matters is the quality of followers. The people behind this number who are really seeing our work and even commenting or liking one or the other photo/video. This is valid for all social media and sure our blog.
It is every single one of YOU, among another things, that keep us going and keep us doing what we love the most.
It is time for a big THANK YOU for all of you out there for your continuous support, love, inspiration and motivation. YOU who message, email, comment, like and even call us to let us know you are seeing our work and passion. We do not take these things for granted and it does not matter if its 10 “likes” or 300 for a photo. Every “like” and comment is unique and means a person appreciates your work.
We just realized that we never published the wonderful styled shoot we did last year in Florence Italy for the E-magazine from Austria’s larges wedding blog called Hochzeitsguide. We have been on the cover of the second issue and badly wanted to be part of the third version too.
Yesterday we had a very nice little family and friends BBQ at one of the most beautiful spots in Carinthia. It is overwhelming how much love we received for our wedding in New Zealand over the last couple of month and eloping was simply the best idea we have ever head. But truth to be told, we missed our close people and thus we wanted to party with them as well.
We left wonderful New Zealand short after our wedding day for a honeymoon to Hawaii. Btw, thank you all so much for the lovely feedback on our blog post about New Zealand. In case you have not seen it check it out right here.
Exactly today, three years ago, Anne emailed us fort he first time ever with some very personal words about our work and us. She explained her photography career and how she recently found the new love of her life. It all sounded a bit like a fairy-tale and we where really happy to be part of this right from the beginning.
Being a travel junkie herself she wanted some tips for a trip around the world she was planning together with her boyfriend Björn. We emailed back and forth and totally got along without having met each other in person. That changed in 2012 when they came to Munich and we had time to grab lunch together. We connected right from the first second and also had the pleasure to meet over the years again.

We hope you all are doing well and enjoying the fall. Well it’s kinda cold already and back home (Austria) we got pictures send from snowy gardens. Normally for us, November is a bit more quite than during the summer, but for those who have noticed, we launched a huge project on Sunday and are very excited about it. Wohoo! Yesterday we have got an e-mail from Ben & Drew aka The Cana Family, with a link to Vimeo. All of a sudden Carmen was shaking a little and we both were super nervous and excited. It does not happen often that we have to give up control for something about us and we were afraid of how we would look and how we come across. Carmen was worring about her hair and make up after hiking for hours through the forest as well ;-)
Can you see the cow dung on our feet? Haha, that was really funny!
Yesterday we got that kind of feeling that our brides and grooms must have when we send them the links for photos or fusion. Normally we can only imagine how they must feel when they talk about their excitement.
When Patricia contacted us last year about her plans for the first German inspirational wedding book ever produced we where totally thrilled to be part of it. And since almost a month now the “Hochzeitswahn – Sei inspiriert 2013” is out and everyone interested into beautiful things, no matter if getting married in 2013 or not, should get a copy of this incredible masterpiece.
We hope everyone is already prepared for some relaxed and calm down Christmas time with family and friends. But before we let you go to eat and celebrate the next days we would like to share the colorful after wedding shoot of Sabrina and Hubert with you.

We have had itchy feed since last weekend in order to show you this real fairytale themed wedding in Reith b. Kitzbühel. Almost every little girl is dreaming of a fairytale wedding when they are young but to grow up and still have this deep wish and idea in your mind might be very seldom. But Sabrina has always wished for such a wedding once she found her perfect man. Hubert, a cool French guy, is the chosen lucky “Mr. Right” and he perfectly fits into this dream. Don’t you think so too?
Today a super relaxed and don’t-move-only-recharge-batteries kind of vacation ends and we are on our way back to Munich. More about the fantastic time here in Thailand is coming in a separate posting. We need to show this shoot with the lovely Natalie and Hayden first.
The Australian/New Zealand couple living in Sydney has gotten our attention last week as the staff in our resort has mentioned a wedding party at the other end of the beach. We both were pretty excited to see the venue getting ready and how the stationary and reception is looking like. Frankly speaking, we were very surprised about the beautiful style the team has created here. (We learned later, that the bride has planed this very well in advanced and things she wanted were even shipped from the states ;-)
We are blown away by the huge response we got from the wedding pictures of Angelika and Artur. Almost 3500 page views hit the blog at the first day. Thank you all for your likes and comments here and on Facebook. This means so much for us! Thank you!
Not even twenty-four hours after the fantastic wedding of Angelika and Artur we met these guys again for another portrait session. Still psyched and kinda “high” from this stunning event and the wonderful light in that area we headed out to the coast do shoot at the beach.
